We love our revolution! However... the navigation system leaves a lot to be desired. we finally gave up and bought a Garmin.

Welcome to IRV2. I still use the old fashioned maps. Can't quite bring myself to trust a little box that talks to me. lol Anyway, I hope you enjoy this site. Safe travels.

I like co pilot on my laptop...allows you to pre set speeds on types of roads, height of your coach, stops per hour, and likes or dislikes re if you want tolls, to avoid interstates and restricted roads..very nice program..they also do commercial truck programs so they know what they are doing...they also allow multiple stops per trip

Don't know what year your Revolution is, but the GPS is one of the first things I complained about after taking delivery of our new rig. It was never intended for use in an RV. It's the most non-user friendly thing I can imagine and, installed in an RV, it has no campground catagory as part of it's search menu. Even my ancient Garmin has a campground catagory! Our first trip, leaving the dealership, our old Garmin was sitting on the dash, immediately on top of the piece of crap American installed (and that goes for the radio function too). Now the Garmin has been permanently retired to the Jeep and has been replaced in the Revolution by the Rand McNally RV specific (7710) unit.

They definitely missed the mark on that unit (ours is a Clarion). Not only are they not in the right ball park, they're still looking for a ball park, any ball park - relying, no doubt, on one of these paper weights to get them to one.

Hi trheadenham, welcome to the forum and congratulations on your Fleetwood Revolution. Garmin is the way to go. If your using a MAC you can download Garmin Road Trip from the Garmin site Garmin: RoadTrip for Mac Updates & Downloads to do your route planning, customize anyway you want to, then download it into your GPS.
