Nearly Ready
My wife, my boxer, and I (lowest in this hierarchy ) are planning on retiring and winter camping along the Gulf/desert states to be closer to our military friends and warmth. 8 years of snow, cold, and lousy roads in NYS is enough. We enjoy the other 3 season here though. We are 3-4 years out, so we have time to plan.
We have tent, pop up, and 5-wheel experience.
We are researching larger class As to tow a 2013 Honda Fit manual, with washer and dryer, king size bed, and of course, units with good reputations and reliability. Diesel is my first choice but I've heard a a properly geared gasser can work well.
We are looking at 5-wheels too . There are several 4 season rigs that could work, but require a tow truck upgrade and would eliminate our 38 mag daily driver.
Looking forward to learning from the trail blazers!

Welcome, I don't know if you are close to Syracuse but there's an RV show this weekend at the fairgrounds. Lots of research possibilities.
