Nervous Newbie from So. IL

Hi, we just bought an RV! - WOW!!! - We are so excited and I am so nervous! We pick it up from the dealer in a few days, then we are headed on our first trip this weekend!
SOOOOOOO, I know the dealer will go over hookup instructions, but is there a forum or a site recommendation for making sure we do it correctly and consider all the important details? ('07CoahmenMirada)

Thanks!

Welcome to IRV2. Congrats. You're dealer should take you through a complete walk thru and explain all the systems. Insist on it.

Welcome to the forum. Dw and I are also from So Il. Left in 2004 to go cruising (on a 42' trawler), but are now looking at motorhomes so we and do some land exploring. What brand did u by, and was it from a local dealer? By the way you'll love this site. TONS of great info.

Just saw your coach type. Our Internet is very slow here. That's a great coach.

Welcome Cruzin, help, your in the right place for help. Search the various areas of IRV2 and you'll find motorhome (MH) specific sites, manufactor specific, chassies specific, basicly limitless info. Be sure to check the thread in new member check in titled "Attention Newbies " for a chance to meet up with other members of IRV2 and aimed at newbies. WELCOME.

Hi and welcome. You will do great with your new coach. We have all been there and have all made the mistakes. There's a lot of great information on this forum. If you do searches, you will probably find answers to all your questions. UTube helps too.

Hello and welcome! If you have a smartphone or video camera be sure to tape the walkthrough with the dealer so you can refer back to it later!

Welcome and glad to meet you!

Spend as much time as you need on the new rig. The more complex the rig, the longer the dealer ddelivery should be. As others have said, Insist on it!

Wow, thanks everyone for the welcome and advice. It is my understanding that we should expect to spend 1 1/2 to 2 hours at delivery. I will definitely record the walk through so that I can refer back to it.

I'm going to visit other threads, too!

I'll keep you posted . . .
