Nevada Newbies

Greetings, folks!

After wearing out 4 travel trailers since we got married 20 years ago, Michelle and I finally bought our first motorhome last May. We've spent 45 nights in it, so far. I guess that's not too bad, especially since we both still work for a living!

We're mostly "boondockers", in the strictest sense of the word. You'll only find us in a campground if there's no other choice. We avoid cities, preferring the wide open desert southwest. We're both licensed ham radio operators, and recently spent two weeks in Quartzsite, AZ at Quartzsfest 2015.

I've been lurking on here for months and I've learned so much about motorhomes and the differences between them and trailers. The knowledge base here is incredible and I hope I can contribute a little bit in the future.

Meanwhile, we'll see you all down the road!

Bob and Michelle

Hi Bob and Michelle! We too are from NV..Las Vegas to be exact. We are looking at going full-time this summer with any luck. We're in the process of getting the house ready to be put on the market. Once it sells we'll get our Class A diesel pusher and hit the road. We're very excited for this lifestyle change!

So you got to see the "Burning Ham" did you?

Quartzsite is fantastic last half of Jan... Wish I could make it.

I normally park a bit north of Quartsfest with a group of on-line friends but who knows,,, i do come visit..
