You will do great if you know how to work on things. The P30 is easy to maintain and parts are not too bad.
I had that same rig for a while.
My big advice is to make sure your tires are in good shape. I replaced mine with Doublecoin that were widerand taller and the ride improved alot, also the front airbags.
