Post New A Class Owner with limited mechanical knowledge

Good Morning,
Picking up our new 2016 Itasca Sunstar LX 30T Wednesday. I have acceptance walk around check list to follow but wondering if there are very specific questions to ask the dealer/maint tech in addition to what my eyes see. I am not mechanically blessed so I could look at something and have know clue if it's ok or not. Thanks for your help and hope to see you on the road some day.

Congrats on the new MH.

You might want to video tape your walk around. Your head might be spinning a bit and the video tape will let you look back after the dust settles.

Good luck!

Hi Bill & Kathleen! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Congrats on the new rig! Keep her between the ditches!

I would insist that they demonstrate the operation of EVERY system on the rig to be sure you can properly use them and also that they are actually working correctly!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Hi Bill & Kathleen

Glad to have you here in the forum with us.

Make sure when they demonstrate the systems you understand them If not, don't be bashful. Ask them to repeat it. Take notes or video it for future reference.

Happy Trails!!!
