New (again)

Hey all!

Re-registering on this form after a few years away taking care of other things in life. Tons has changed so I'm going to just pretend I'm walking in the door for the first time

I'm Russ, and I travel around full-time (mostly) with my girlfriend Melody, and our 2 Italian Greyhounds, Hazen and Otis. We live in a 35' Class C, that pulls a 18' Travel Trailer 'office' behind us. It's a lot to take down the road but it gives us both the space we need to operate 2 small businesses, while I also work a full time day job, and we still enjoy everywhere we go.

It comes with a set of challenges outside of the normal 'full timer' skill set, but it's pretty worth it to us.

Our plan for the remainder of 2017, which starts in... 48 hours now, wow... is to head north from Houston TX, up the east side of the Rockies, in to Canada to see a few of their parks, and then across the top of the US over to Seattle where we'll stay for about a month. Towards the end of summer we'll start a slow drop down the west coast and then turn east around San Diego to head back through TX on our way to start 2018 in FL!

On the RV maintenance and project side of things in the next 6 months, I hope to be installing some Fantastic Fan's, a rear roof ladder (didn't come with one), and some exterior lighting projects.

Hope to bump into some of you on the road!

Drive safe and enjoy life!

Our setup

Collectively I refer to all of this and my Jeep as 'the fleet'. She hates it when I call it that, and that's probably why I do it. This is basically what we travel with, while my Jeep sits in TX in storage mostly.
