New (Again) Member

Greetings from fabulous Alaska.

My DH and I drove from the Northeast US to Alaska to visit and never returned - except for a brief visit a few years ago. We found a place to stay and were welcomed by the community. We have been active in community organizations and have decided to make this our permanent home.

I was a member here, and withdrew because I just didn't go on line much. I have no idea who I was back then or what my email was.. But since I am a different person since coming to AK, I think it is a good thing to start over here again.

We will be traveling back to the Northeast to sell our home and return in the fall. Don't tell anyone, but the winters here are better for us than they were in the Northeast.

I am anxious to get on the road to NY and to see all the places we wanted to revisit from our previous trips to and from Alaska. We will be leaving mid to late May and hope to be back here in late September. Maybe if we are fortunate we will meet some of you along the way.

Welcome back! I have loved Alaska from afar for years (live in the southern gulf states). Hope your trip to sell your home goes well and you get a good price for it. I'll have to keep an eye out for your postings on Alaska and our last frontier.
