New and Planning

I have been admiring the RV world all my life and planning to buy within the next three years after retiring. Looking to use for vacations and tailgating. I'd like four slides, good quality and latest technology. There are just way to many brands to choose from so I'd like some advice on brands names to review and the one's to just leave alone. I like the quality of what I buy and looking in the price range of $150,000 and 40 feet with options to enjoy. I have the time to shop but need to be steered in the right direction. This looks to be a very promising site you have!

Welcome. Since you have time you should visit as many RV dealers and shows as you can to get some ideas. Then start eliminating various rigs. There is lots of good info and folks here so read and ask questions in the various threads. Good luck in your search. The RV world is kind of special

Hi, I, too, am new and planning to buy next year. What time of year is best to get the years model at the best price?

You did not say if you are looking to buy new or used. Buying a gently used 2-3 year old coach is often a good choice.

Looking for slightly used and technically advanced with a good chassis and frame. Would like good solid info on the brands to look through and the ones to stay away from. Options that are a must have and one's that don't matter if you are reselling kind of thing.
I'd like to stay in this coach a good 8-10 yrs. Hoping to find one before next year and give myself an opportunity to complete short trips before heading out for long hauls.
