New camper but not new to camping

We just bought our first camper last month. A 2016 Keystone Bullet 272 BHS. The day we picked it up from the dealer we took it straight to the campground to try it out and figure out what else we needed to buy. We have since camped in it 2 additional times.

I have camped for many years with my parents who have a 5th wheel they tow with a Volvo semi truck, but my kids have all gotten older and I felt we outgrew their camper and needed one of my own.

My husband isn't very interested in camping but we also have a set of seadoos and as long as we are camping where he can use them he is up for it. Hoping I can get him more on board as time goes on.

When I was shopping for a camper I would always stand inside and think, "If it is raining outside, can my kids handle being inside with each other?". The one we purchased has worked out great. With the bunks in the back my kids have their own space they can retire to. Also, loving the exterior entry to the bathroom so the kids don't have to travel through the entire camper to use the bathroom if they have been outside.

Welcome.

Sounds like you made some really good decisions based on thoughtful reasons.

Hopefully the DH will come on board, but what is wrong with camping close to water?

He only wants to camp if we can be close to water and bring our Seadoos with. He doesn't think it is fun to camp without them.
