New Canadian snowbirds
Hi all, my hubby and I retired this year and are spending our summers at our lakeside cabin, but will be leaving this weekend to head south to find warmer weather. You can't beat summers in Alberta, Canada, but you sure don't want to spend the winters there brrrr Anyway, we purchased a used 1995 Thor Manor that seems to fit the bill perfectly for what we were looking for in a motor home and we have used it a few times this summer. Love it, but can't find owner manuals for it anywhere online. I used to rv years ago with my parents, so I know that you need to be able to drain the water tanks, change inline filters, etc., but can't seem to find where the pesky things are. I managed to find the gas tank, propane tank and the sewer drains at least LOL. We are really looking forward to a winter of adventure and hopefully, by the end of the season I will have found everything. I am working on making my own owners manual as I find things out. I look forward to reading all of the tips and tricks that you more experienced people can give and maybe meeting some of you somewhere along the road.

Welcome to the forum. You'll find plenty of help here, but you'll probably want to post questions under the "Manufacturers", "Chassis" or "RV Systems & Tech" forums. I've had great deal help from nice folks with much experience.
You can even do a detailed search and find people who've had similar issues.
Best of luck and safe travels!

tladouceur58:
Hi from Mitchell, South Dakota and WELCOME to the iRV2 gang.
Yup, it's starting to get pretty nippy even here in South Dakota and I see on the weather reports that Alberta was gettin some snow. For sure it's time to head SOUTH!! Where are you folks planning to spend the winter?? Following a family wedding on Saturday, we're "gettin outta Dodge" and heading for Florida this year. Staying again at Wilderness RV Park, Silver Springs, FL (adjacent to Ocala). Absolutely a GREAT location. If ya get down that way, be sure to stop by.
Again,...WELCOME.
