I do not know the model year of Bill's Class C, so I can not say how old it is..Looks showroom from a distance, but I've never layed hands on. (That is the one I mentioned up thread)

If you are looking at new I really suggest you wait till the Atlanta RV show,,, Largest collection of NEW, complete with salesmen in the area... It should be right soon if memory serves. Yup Jan 23ish

Welcome from a fellow Georgian! We live northeast of you on Lake Lanier. Lots of good camping around here.
I would do some research before deciding on what to tow with your truck. Although I eventually decided on a class A, I initially was planning to tow a trailer behind my 1500 truck. I quickly learned that what a salesperson says my truck can tow and what my truck can tow are often vastly different. Don't necessarily think they were lying, maybe just misinformed. I would narrow your list down, get real world weights on your truck and trailer, and post on the towing section here. People way smarter than me about towing will chime in with their opinion. Not that you can't figure it out for yourself, I've just read WAY too many threads about people buying too big of a trailer on this forum.
Again, welcome to the forum. And to the camping life. We've found it to be the best quality family time we can spend together.

wa8yxm, we went to a small show this past weekend at the North Atlanta Trade Show. We took the boys with us to that one, but I think we are going to let them stay with relatives for the other show. They absolutely loved it, but it was hard to get information. Ofcourse the show was really packed with people so getting info was an issue anyway. We're researching the dealers and their model lines now so we can have a plan for the next show! I may even contact the dealers to see if they are going to have a specific floor plan at the show.

Jeffwit, we are actually on Lanier as well, and seeing all the campgrounds when we're on the lake is one of the reasons that started us down this path! We're Southwest on the lake near BaldRidge.
