New from Cape Cod

Greetings all,
I finally learned out how to use this site. My Wife and I have a new-to-us Lazy Daze center bath Motor home. Presently in Charleston SC for the holidays with my sister-in-law and mother-in-law. We are taking the mother-in-law on a cross country motor home trip that includes Florida, Tennessee, and as much of the southern coast of the US we can fit in. She is 85 years old and this is her bucket list dream.

Plan is to travel several hours per day when we travel, and if we find nice places to stay, stay for several days to explore. This is not a trip to get to California as soon as we can.

My wife, Peggy, and I live on a boat that is in up state Michigan till next spring. After this motor home trip is done, we might sell it before moving back to the boat.

Happy holidays everyone.
Bob and Peggy

What time of the year are you going to be out in Arizona and California?

I notice your RV is a 2001. I don't know if you are familiar with our temperatures out here but 105 in July, August and September is kinda normal so you best have your cooling system checked out thoroughly.

Upper Michigan is lovely all year round, but not so good if you are on a boat.. I'm from Detroit ares (mostly) and other places along I-94.

I'm in Fair Play SC this week and Seneca next week.. If you are comign this way and want to spend a couple of nights go to Reserve Americas and search for SOUTH COVE 15/night 30 or 50 amp same price (NOTE Winter rate) Water, on site. LOVELY PARK.. I think iot ios siote 15 I have reserved for Thu to Thu next week.

Oh, and when on the cape... If you need a good lawyer. As it happens I know a couple (Sister and B-I-L).

Thanks for the update. Our plan is to do the trip over the next 2 or 3 months, Jan 2018 to March 2018. We are in charleston and plan on heading out Jan 9 towards Florida, than follow the southern coast to Calif. and back with numerous stops along the way.

Heat won't be a problem then for sure. We've gone back and forth across I 10 several times in that time of year. Hope you plan to spend some time in New Orleans. Fun place to visit.
