New from Colorado
Hi everyone!
We just purchased our first "new" motorhome, a 2000 Fleetwood Bounder, and will be heading to Florida in the coming weeks to pick it up. We've had a truck camper and a travel trailer, but this is a new experience for us. We're very excited but nervous at the same time.
Any advice for our first road trip back to Colorado?
We're looking for to learning from all you experienced RV'ers.

Bob & Gayle;
We are glad you joined us. Browse the forums that interest you and don't be afraid to ask questions. Sorry I can't answer your question but will share a couple of things I remember. First don't completely trust the fuel gauge until you have had a couple of fills and the gauge is accurately representing the amount of fuel in the tank. 2nd take it a little slower at first until you get a feel for driving your new to you MH. It will take awhile but you will soon start to feel comfortable driving your new rig. Enjoy the forums and your new Motor home.

Welcome to the forum. Lots of good information here for you to look at and ask questions.
Do keep your miles driven on the low side for the first couple of days till you get used to the rig and how things work (or don't work ). Do enjoy what you are seeing on the way home and stop frequently to do some "sightseeing"
Where in Colorado? We lived in Conifer for many years before moving to the Caribbean (Dominican Republic) 12 years ago. No split our time between the DR and traveling around the US in our MH.
