Welcome from IOWA also. We have a 2000 Damon Challenger. We had ours out this weekend. Went to southern Iowa on Friday am to visit a relative. We of course now know our furnace works very well!!!!

Thank you all for the welcome to the forum. We spent the first night in the camper last Friday night after we cleaned and washed it out from the previous owner. At 25F during the night I quickly noticed that the furnace only blew cold air at 2 am. Not knowing exactly what to do (gas was 1/2 full still) we turned it of for a while, bundled up and started searching manuals and google for tips and tricks. Nothing found, however when I turned it back on it (for some reason) worked. We took it all with a chuckle as we are all learning how to operate our "new" house on wheels. Bring on the adventure

Welcome, Ozzy. We are fairly new ourselves to irv2 (a few months) and we have learned a lot from the folks on irv2. It's a great place to find help on all kinds of topics. Enjoy!

Welcome from me too, and what he said....except don't get scared off by the amount of problems you see talked about... people are out enjoying their campers until they hit a problem... then they stop, come inside and come to the forum to ask questions .... so the scales are tipped in that favor... just know many, many more folks are out there having fun and not sitting in front of their computers discussing their latest trouble....LOL!

Wow! What a difference! Looks really nice. Now all you have to do is hang out a shingle and folks will line up.

I really like the new floor. Would like to do something like that to mine, you think it did much as of weight to the RV?

It adds some weight, however I don't intend to lug with us stuff that totals up to max capacity. I will go onto the scale at work soon to see how much difference there is from the manufacturing weight. Then I will really know

thanks Hudgens. All done in one day. Lessons learned; Don't use a knife to do all the cut outs, use tin snips...
