Welcome to IRV2. We started in 2009 with a new Class C. It all depends on how much you can afford or if you want payments etc. Being new to the whole RV thing I think if we had to do it over we would definately by new again. Hope this helps. Have a great time with your travels.

Hi folks! Welcome to IRV2! To answer your question, I think it depends on how excited you are about becoming RV'ers and what the budget will allow. If you're not really sure you will like it you might want to start out with a used rig, then move up later if the shoe fits! Good luck & God bless!

Welcome,

I would suggest looking for a used unit with a floor plan you think you like and with the options you think you want. My bet is, after about a year you will discover I wish we had this or that and we dont use this or that. At that point maybe look at new. Or if you will not be traveling very far from home...rent for a few trips before buying.

my .02 worth and again welcome and good luck
