new from Kansas
We just wanted to introduce ourselves and say "hi" to all. We bought a 2012 shadow cruiser 285rls this past August and managed to get in a few weekend trips before putting it away for the winter. Needless to say, like most of you, we are tired of this Midwest winter and are anxious to get out there and start camping. We have found that this site appears to also be a great place to find answers to our numerous questions that we are still bound to have as this is our first time with an RV. We camped years ago when we were kids and when our kids were little, then finally decided to get back to it but sleeping on the ground was just not going to happen anymore for these bodies, so it is TT time for us. We hope to meet many of you as we attempt to make many camping memories.

Welcome! We live about 100 miles south of you, and you are right, this winter has been brutal! I think you have had more snow than we have tho.
We haven't even got to take our new-to-us TT out yet for a shakedown, but looking forward to a weather break so we can try her out before heading up to Truman Lake for Memorial Day weekend.

thanks for the warm welcome... now if the weather would turn warm,, decided to book a long weekend trip to Missouri end of April to kick off the season,, hope that weather co-operates... will try to post pictures,, that is if we are not all bundled up in front of a fire trying to keep warm.
