New, from San Diego
Hi Everyone! I'm really new to this, as you will soon see! My sister gave me (free!) an old Fleetwood trailer (1981) and my son and I are fixing it up. I wouldn't exactly call it "restoring" as we are completely changing the decor. Everything important works, A/C, lights, guts, etc.(so far!)I'm having lots of fun doing the interior decor (and spending money like a drunken sailer). Who knows if we will ever really take it camping! It might just end up being a retreat for the teenage grandkids but I've always dreamed of taking a trip in an RV. As soon as we have deemed it "fixed", we'll take it out for a spin and maybe even go to a campground. I'm doing the interior in a very contemporary style, no flowers and lace for this grandma! Painting the entire interior in shades of grey with touches of bright colored accessories, brushed aluminum back splash, etc. Will post before and after photos in about 2 weeks. I'll soon drive you nuts with questions, no doubt!

Sharon;
Welcome to iRV2. Congratulations on the acquisition of your Fleetwood trailer. I love the price. You can justify putting some $$$ into your project. As Lori told you, don't be afraid to ask questions as we have a great group here who like to help when they can.

Thanks for the "welcoming", Don and Lori. I'll be posting photos soon. I'm finished with the painting and we're putting in a new countertop and kitchen sink today. Coming into the home stretch....
