New from Savannah,Ga
Hi folks, just wanted to say that I have been reading forums and and think you guys are a great group of people. I'm leaving the sailboat and have decided to cruise on land. First time class a owner and look forward to meeting y'all on my way to Sacramento in October.

Welcome, we to came off our sailboat, live a boards for six years. BTW our son lives in Pooler, works at Gulf Stream.

I'll be down there sometime after Valentine's day if all goes well.. (Well a bit farther south) Darlilng Daughter lives in Darian..
If you want an interesting place to spend a couple days, In Townsend (Take the exit for the Darien Outlet Mall) there is a campground called Cathead Creek Ranch RV Park and Cowboy Church.. Now as RV parks go.. Nothing earth shattering, the park has around 30 sites, most pull through 50 amp full hookup (Some exceptions) Decent Wi-Fi. Little shade.. The owner is the preacher who runs the Cowboy Church.
On Thurdsay evening they have a service/potluck. As with any church service there is a LITTLE scripture and lecture. There is a lot of music (They pastor is a music type person) and sometimes professional christian musicians, Some of which are very good.
And of course the pot luck dinner.
IT is on Cox Road.. Just go towards the Darian outlet mall, pass it, continue on about 3 miles, Just before you get there the road you are on curves right, go straight and the park will be on the right, bought a quarter mile down.
