Well, let's see, I'm not gonna tell how old I am!!! Grewup in AR & TX. Served 24 years in the Army and retired in 1994! (Man that seems like a long time ago!) Worked for the Government for 8-9 years and quit so I could do the thing I love...spend time with my family..Hunt...fish..travel..and camp! Been a tent camper all my life. My wife works the local police department and will retire in a few years. We're both lookin' forward to that day!! Just last year decided to go the TT route, and I love it!!! Purchased a 2012 Forest River V-Cross, bunk house model, 30'. TV is a '01 2500 Ram Diesel, I purchased new..now has 300,000 miles and run as good the day I drove it off the lot! My brother and DW have a trip to NM, AZ, CA, OR, and WA planned from May to July. I enjoy the military campgrounds, COE, NF, BLM, state parks, NPs and most any place where it's quite and remote! So I guess that me! Almost forgot my best friend (other than my wife) KODA my dog!!! She goes where I go.

Welcome Longarrow! Sounds you and the wife have had an interesting life and we're looking forward to hearing more of that and your travels!

I know you like remote places to camp in your TT, but if you've a mind to join a rally with the Texas Boomers, then check us out in the South Central Section! I can't promise quiet, but I can promise you'll meet a lot of new friends from all over our great state!

...and if you come to the Easter rally at Miller Creek RV in Johnson City we'll teach you to stack Red Solo Cups (inside joke - see pics from Rhinestone Cowboy Prom), but we do have a bit of fun at our rallies. Join us!
