Smile New full time class A bound

Going to sell the house and jump into full time class A RVing. Have done a lot of research but know we will have lots of questions.

Our first question is about the auxiliary air chuck be used for? RV tire inflation? Bike tire inflation?

The onboard air can be used but usually 100 psi is about the max unless you release air from the system so the air compressor starts up again. Been there, tried it and gave up. Personally I prefer the very quiet Viair 12 volt 450 RV setup over running the 650 hp main engine.

Glad to have you here in the forum with us. You're gonna like it here.

That air chuck will inflate almost everything. It is a challenge to do the MH tires however.

Happy Trails!!!

Hi Bob & Jacquie! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

As others have said, the aux air connection can be used for airing car tires and even MH tires, but it's a pain to air the MH tires! To do it successfully you need to make an adapter like the one in the video below.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
