New Full Timer
Started my new full time RV life recently. Just me and my dog, Elvis. Got divorced so decided to sell the house buy a class A mobile home and begin life on road. Loved camping but had never even been in an RV before buying, so learning as I go.
Still work during the week so drive on weekends and park during week. Love everything about it so far (finished a 60 day trial run from NY to Naples FL with stops along the way). The most difficult part is finding sites with wireless that allows me to work. Any thought or help there would be appreciated.
Also Learning that advance planning, more than a year in advance seems to be a must if I want to hit the national parks in good weather. I only have a motorcycle on a lift as my vehicle other than The Rig and want follow the warm weather.
I plan to travel from October to May and stay in a seasonal spot in NY during the summer months.
I’ll be staying in AZ near Yuma for 2 months starting in January and one month in San Diego before heading back to NY.
Sorry for the long note but any pointers, reading, thoughts are greatly appreciated.
Looking forward to seeing our beautiful country, meeting great folks and hiking interesting spots with my pup.
Thx,
Steve

WELCOME!
FT RVng is a Lifestyle....enjoy the journey!
Never rely on CG Internet Service....especially for work
Need to provide your OWN Internet service
Techy folks will be along to advise on that
*We FT for 7yrs and we used a Verizon Air Card for our Internet
That now is very Old School.....better means/methods available now

Welcome to the group from Wildwood, Fl. at the Thousand Trails' Three Flags Park, for now. On February 1st we will be in Goodyear for 2 months before we start hitting the road again.
We full time and since we went full time, we changed our state of residency to South Dakota.

As noted, provide your own internet service if you depend on it. A good resource is: https://www.rvmobileinternet.com/
Not FT yet, but will be in Gila Bend, just down the street from you for Jan.
For Elvis, critters are different in Yuma. Snakes, scorpions, coyotes, tarantulas, cacti…..and most National Parks either don’t allow, or very much restrict dogs on trails. An app like AllTrails will allow you to search for dog friendly hikes.
