New Full Timers

Hey Guys,

My wife and I are in the process of buying a used Diesel Pusher. (99 Harney Renegade). Super excited to get out and enjoy the country.

Surprise last night... Most of the Renegade's have the CAT 3126 engines in them which while not a bad engine isn't the best if your planning on racking up hundreds of thousands of miles.

Last night we went to see the one we are trying to buy and the ad said it was the CAT engine. When I opened the engine compartment under the bed, what was my surprise but this one is one of the rare ones with the Detroit 530E engine! Woot!! In frame rebuilds can be done. Which means I now have zero concerns about driving anywhere. Any shop can rebuild it / fix it instead of needing a CAT shop, and it shouldn't need a rebuild for a LONG LONG time.

It was a wonderful surprise.
