New Full Timers coming onboard!
After 38 years of marriage. the kids are on their own and my wife retires from the VA the last day of may 2015. Our plans have always included traveling the United States once Jo retired. Well, the time is here....
We purchased a 1998 GulfStream Friendship a few years ago and have been on a couple over nighters in it. I have a few items to work on before we head out on the road but hope to get them done within the next six weeks. I am pretty much lost when I start looking at the systems I will check but, I'm fairly adept at the computer.
Our toad is a 2012 Honda CRV AWD which we hope will get all the side trips taken and new friends to ride along. We enjoy PowWows and gold mining. I have a couple decent metal detectors but will need to learn about finding gold in dry areas. Being from Washington, I hardly ever get to prospect in dry weather for to long a time period before it gets damp again.
We are looking forward to meeting new friends along the way share common interests. BTW: I am a Native American style flute maker. I have to bring a minimal amount of tools to continue these custom made beauties as we travel.
Thanks in advance for the hospitality that we know is awaiting us in our new adventure.

Glad to have you here with us. It's always interesting to me to find a musical intrument maker, being a musician myself. Sounds like a fun hobby.
Best of luck with your travels after your wife retires.
Happy Trails!!
