We've been reading IRV2 for a long while now...quietly. I just officially registered as a member, and thought I'd introduce ourselves. Don and I are Chicagoans (Glen Ellyn), retired south to Nashville five years ago. Last February we decided to do some RVing out west and bought our 2007, 33-foot, Itasca Class A Sunstar MH and hit the road last June. We were gone for 9-months, it wasn't enough time, and we decided to go full-time until we felt 'done'. We came back to Tennessee in March, sold our house quickly, gave couches and lazy boys to our kids and put all our belongings in a 10x15 storage unit. We are ready to hit the road again as soon as our house closing occurs. We signed up for the Escapees Club's mailing service and a SD permanent address. We are very excited to get back out west again. We will also be going back to Quartzsite in January because we had a blast boondocking with the four other MH couples we had met in Mt. Rushmore.

Besides deciding what satellite TV set up to get, I think we are fairly set. I love our MH and am lucky to have a husband who is as fun AND handy as they come. He has had lots of performance/shocks/swaybar kind of stuff I can't even articulate completed, and he has added so many nice touches such as "looks like" a glass tile kitchen back splash, great lighting additions, Route 66 themed and personal pictures hung, and I LOVE IT!

Can't wait to meet new friends, reunite with old ones, and see the beautiful and amazing United States of America!
