New Guy from NH

Bill here, as you may see from my screen name I fish a lot. Retired, just bought a 1982 Shasta 22 foot RV on a Ford E-350 chassis. Motor is 351M. Wanted to get in cheap to see if this was something my SO and I liked. Used to camp when my kids were small, had a 28 foot tow behind. So far, I am ordering a new furnace due to some unsafe "mods" by one of the previous owners. Trying to trace wiring as truck lights do not work other than headlights. Looking for a short as the relay in the new headlight switch clicks as soon as switch is pulled out. Everything else seems in good shape except for weather cracks in front tires. Spare is brand new, looking for a mate so I only have to buy one.
Looking forward to reading posts and maybe even contributing some help. Been wrenching since I was 11. Bikes, minibikes, dirt bikes, cars, street bikes, ATV's and outboards. Profession was mechanic for 11 years, rest of the time was either in Materials Management or doing ERP implementations. Retired 18 months ago due to medical issues. Hang out with my 11 month old Lab all day and my lady friend at night.

Retired....Fishing.....RVing...You are living the dream. Check the dates on your tires, if they are 7 plus years, replace them. Safe and Happy travels.
