New Guy from SoCal

Hiya...New to the forum after being a "lurker" for a couple of months. I have been RVing for about 4 years for family vacations (me, my wife, 2 boys, 120 lb dog, and a cat. My first RV was a 34' 1992 Winnebago Adventurer, which was a great starter RV, but the no slideout became an issue last summer. I recently got rid of the Winne and bought a 1997 37' Holiday Rambler Endeavor LE with a Cat 275HP Turbo Diesel (Freightliner chassis with a Allison 6 speed tranny). I pull a 2002 Toyota Prius with a tow dolly (yes it is possible to pull a hybrid!!). I mainly vacation around Central California, but am going to start branching out now that I have an RV that is long haul worthy (nothing against the Winne). I am already planning a spring trip to Arizona and a summer trip to the Pacific Northwest. I do most of the interior work in my RVs myself (Used to own a construction company). I am interested in collaborating with other owners of older coaches to share ideas about various improvements and such. I am also interested in trading great places to camp. I am not averse to boondocking as long as the location is worth it! Looking forward to reading y'all's stories and sharing some of my own. Ciao...MPM
