New guy issues with F53 Emergency Brake leak

Hi
I am new to the IRV2 but not RV's. This is my 4th one. 2000 HR Vacationer, gas, F53 chassis is the one I have now.
I joined up today looking to see if anyone else has had issues with the Emergency Brake unit mounted to the trans.
I saw posts from many years back, but nothing lately unless I am looking in the wrong place.
I am on my second rebuilt unit. First one got hot and melted the seals....after 3 weeks parked trans fluid started hitting the ground.
Got another under warranty, came with a port for the speedo drive (which I don't need), company said use a 7/8" freeze plug. So I did. This one is leaking out the top vent, and leaking quickly. Perhaps 7 miles and I lost approx 1.5 oz.
This brake unit is pretty simple, but this has got me stumped!
Anyone loose fluid out the top vent, or have any thoughts?

It is a parking brake, not an emergency brake. It requires adjustment when installed to make sure it does not drag and overheat.

There is a Ford Motorhome Chassis Forum in iRV2 that could provide specific info on your problem.
