New guy stepping up from self built truck camper to MH
as I've gotten older I find I need more room and things need to be alittle easier to deal with..........my extra light foam sandwich truck camper was just feeling smallish........no place to store much additional stuff other than food n clothes.
And we are using my sportfish boat less n less .......and using my flats boat more [tows great with the MH]........I was in the boat design/build business, both of my boats I designed and built.
So we [me, Karen n Sandy the boxerdog] found a floorplan we liked n bought a 2001 R Vision w[orkhorse] M242 class A bed and bath in rear......... floorplans on new class a 'shorties' are not to our liking.
And with the plan of boondocking out west, I do not need to be getting anything bigger [or heavier] than that stuck in the sand!
we have friends in central n south florida and the keys we can stay with and room at my buddy's in the keys is tight!
so 25' works good.
I have embarked on making the MH steer like a dream and many threads here have answered my questions and have been a BIG help.
And I plan on taking off all the decals and custom painting it, something I know quite a bit about.
hopefully I can add something to the community here.
Florida Scott, Karen and Sandy the boxerdog

Welcome to the forum!
I think you are going to be happy with the extra rom and storage in the Class A. Sounds like you have some talents that are going to come in handy for you in redoing the things that you want done.

That was a step and a half in to a MH from the homemade unit. I am working on restoring an old bass boat and going thru a learning process.
