That is the argument it seems.

The previous owner used it for 2 or 3 years behind his MH. He drove twice a year from MI to FL without incident. He considered it part of his MH and took off his plate from the MH and put it on the back of the SW. I am not that brave. I put a trailer plate on it.

I drove with it from MI to MT and back without any issues with the Police. Only one interested were the other vehicles passing me.

We plan to take another trip to the North East, but I understand from the online sites, that most restrict or ban triple tow. I don't know if I want to test their resolve.

But on the other hand, every person I have ever heard from or read on the net that uses one these or similar units, have never had any issues in those restrictive States. Not one. So, I don't know if we will take the bike or not.

I live in VA, and it is a non-triple tow state. I'm interested if you take it to the North East.

Good morning all. According to sc law,this is a trailer and not allowed here. Flip side,as long as you are tagged in a state that does allow this setup,east coast states will honor your setup. I am trying to get around this so i can pull my golf cart as I am disabled and can't walk very far.
