Hello, new to the forum from NE Florida. We have a 72 Apache popup and a 76 GMC Motorhome. We're young enough to have the ambition to restore these antiques, even if our Jeep buddies give us grief, and you know who you are

Been thru your city during rush hour it seems every time heading south.
Have some people in Vintage forum you may be interested in and we use to pull a popup behind our MH for the kids what fun they had with that their own private sweet.

No not two remodels, the Apache is campable for now, just didn't paint the outside. The GMC is the priority.

We had (sold last year) a 1974 Apache Roamer solid State pop-up (even posted pics on a freewebs.com site). Do you know about www.apachepopups.com? I used to post there but basically got kicked off (I updated our pop-up and they think you shouldn't) because I called one of the posters (who was always turning his posts into a sales ad for something he sold) a Luddite.

We also have a 1977 GMC (Midas Mini Class C). Gee, all my stuff is old too. But paid for!

Lorna you sound like a real trouble maker to be kicked off apachepopups.net I don't post too much over there. Too much stuff to work thru (lifts section, electrical, awning the list goes on and on). I do like the picture area though. And if the opportunity presents itself one day, I'm going to get a 60 something softside. THose are neater than the hard side popups IMO. BTW ours is a roamer too, its amazing how big those things open up to.
