Cool New here from Oregon

My wife and I just bought a 26' 1984 Fleetwood Jamboree on a Ford chassis with a 460 engine. It's our first RV. It's a fixer~upper and we can't wait to get to work on it. The good things are: 1- Mechanically it runs great 2- The roof is sound and doesn't leak 3- And the tires are in really good shape. The interior loos pretty bad but it is only cosmetic.
Hope to have some pictures to put on here soon. BTW....This is a GREAT web site !!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new rig!

You'll have fun updating the interior to your own tastes.

Just a note on the tires... RV tires almost NEVER wear out. They "time out" and need to be replaced because of age long before the tread gets thin. Opinions vary between 6 and 10 years but very few feel that tires older than that are safe to drive on. All tires have their date of manufacture stamped on them so make sure you check that out.

Best of luck and we're glad you found us.

Rick
