New here, not anywhere else

Just checking in. I've been RV'ing since 2001. We started with a Coleman Niagara TT, then went on to a Keystone Cougar 243RKS and now that we are empty nesters we bought a bigger nest. We currently have a 2016 Jayco Precept that we bought new in April. We've been out for 9 trips this year and really like it. I've already done a bunch of MODs to it and will start on the chassis soon.

I still have the battery selector switch to put in and over the winter build some dividers and shelves for the cupboards and then the CHF, steering stabilizer and Sumosprings. I also am going to install a Extend a stay" for the propane.

When the girls were young we traveled coast to coast in a pop up tent trailer. When they got to be teens, we bought a humongous , at least back then, 24 foot bunk bed TT. When the last one left the nest, we bought a 37 foot diesel pusher! My oldest daughter, now a doctor, asked me one day "why?". "After 20 years of living at home I had to be happy with 3 louzy over the air TV channels. When I leave you get satellite TV with 200 channels...Why?" "When my youngest sister leave the nest you sell the 24 foot travel trailer and get a 37 foot motorhome. Why?" "And when your granddaughter came along and you started to take her places you get a newer fancier motorhome with satellite TV . Why?"
Kids, they never seem to get to old to ask "Why?"

So welcome to the forum, and when the kids ask why you are getting a bigger and bigger RV, just tell them the standard parent answer "Because".
