HI everyone. I'm brand new to this board after hearing about it from my folks.
We are not new to RV'ing, but we are picking up our new Damon Daybreak tomorrow. We're so excited. We traded in our 1993 Gulfstream Class C, and before that, we had a 1981 Winnebago Chieftan.
We are a motocross family in CT who travel each and every weekend from April until November to mx tracks in New England, and we do a trip to FL in February so the kid can ride where it's warm. We'll be heading out on 2/15, so it will be our maiden voyage with the new MH. Have to keep our fingers crossed that everything goes well.
This is a great place, and thanks for letting us join. I look forward to many happy readings and hearing how the rest of the world RV's.

Frankie,
There aren't alot of places to just go and ride unfortunately. Most people we know use various practice tracks, on in Rocky Hill, CT and I think there is one in Mass called Crow Hill. Usually if you know someone who owns property, they might let you ride there, but the neighbors always complain!I know this isn't helpful, but check out the websites of some of the organizations, either NESC, NEMX, NEMA...you might get some helpful info there. We run with one of the organziations and race each weekend, either at the one track in CT, several in Maine, a couple in New Hampshire and a couple in Mass. We are experts at dry camping for sure, as there are no hookups at the tracks. It will be so nice with the new one though, it holds 65 gallons of fresh water, and we're used to 25!
