New IRV2 Member and a "New to me" Class A

Hello Folks...I'm new to the IRV2 Forums and new to the Class A motorhome. I have been over on RV.net for years but just recently started researching alot on class A motorhomes, specifically Winnebago and found some really nice folks online here.

We, DW Beth and I, just purchased our first Class A Diesel and I am a bit nervous/excited about the new learning curve I have with Diesels and Class A systems. (IE: HWH Levels, Slideouts, Diesel engine maintenance, electric everything, etc....)

We started out back in 2000 with a 27ft Dutchmen Travel trailer, sold it in 2006 and moved up to a 2005 Forest River Sunseeker 2900 Class C and now for Christmas the wife and I decided to trade the Class C for a "New to Us" Class A, 2005 Winnebago Journey 39K.

So here's a couple pics...Man this new rig is a "beast" next to our old Sunseeker. Sure will miss her! Lots of travel memories in her!

Oh well....WWHHHHOOOOOOO!!!!!! we got us a Class A Winnebago Journey and man she handles so good and quiet! did I mention how much room the 39K has with opposing front slides, OMG! We are so blessed!

Just got to get used to all the new sounds and get in tune with it. Look forward to talking to all of you on the forums, your experience and knowledge is priceless information!!!

JoneseR;

Thanks for the pictures. Our members like pictures. It sure is a nice looking motor home. We have a Winnebago Chat every Tuesday night at 9 PM EST. I would like to invite you to join us if you have any questions we can help you with. We usually have about 6 seasoned Winnebago owners that come on the chat and they love to help people when they can.
