I found this forum while checking out ST/LT tire threads - I am rebuilding a vintage travel trailer and am about 16 months into that project. It's a lifelong dream and I'm largely doing it myself - although I have had professional help with some major stuff like putting the new axles on and wiring. Very steep learning curve, but it's beginning to level out somewhat. I was raised by devout tent-campers, so the trailer thing is way out of the norm for my genetic blueprint, and a MH would be cause for excommunication. But, since my parents are in their 80's now, they may agree to accompany me on a trip or two - or at least that's my hope. I have to believe the indoor bathroom would be appealing at least.
I'm getting ready to start purchasing new galley appliances and other 'cool' stuff like heat pumps and air conditioners, so I'll just lurk in the shadows and absorb all your collective wisdom. 
If the occasion ever arises where I have something pithy to add or helpful to say, I'll chime in.
