New Magnitude owner
Hi everyone,
New to the RV lifestyle, I have a Thor Magnitude BH35 that I take delivery in March. I have not had any vacations in years so I am looking forward to this new adventure.

Considering Omni/Magnitude
Hubby and I are seriously considering the Omni/Magnitude... either the XG32 or the SV34. We've talked to sales people at a couple different dealerships.. and while they're all nice... they don't seem to have a lot of answers. Our previous RVs have been gasoline, and have been Class Cs... this will be our first diesel, our first SuperC.
Would love to talk to people who have these units.
First Q: seems like the outside fridge on the SV34 runs only on shore power or generator. Is this right? We dry camp most of the time.. boondocking or a step up... which has us thinking we'd remove the fridge and use this space for storage!
Second Q: seems like the inside fridge (house size? really?) runs on shore, generator, or the coach batteries. Is this right? If so, it means that if we're at a remote campground for several days, and we don't want to run the generator.. we're relying on solar to recharge the coach batteries. The solar that comes with the unit (1 panel, only).. seems rather inadequate. Is our concern warranted.
Second Q, part 2: on our current RV -- a 22 foot class C -- we added 2 solar panels earlier this year, and we couldn't be happier. Has anyone added additional solar panels to their Omni/Magnitude? Were you happy with the results? I think we're supposed to be able to run at least one more panel, and maybe two, through the same controller.
