Hi All, Looking forward to learning lots and meeting new people on the forum. Been camping in popups and travel trailers for the last 14 yrs. Just purchased our first MH...2006 Monaco Diplomat 40 PDQ. Any insights/advice on motorhoming and info on Monaco products is welcomed and appreciated!

You are gunna love your coach.
Best insight into motorhoming is just do it. Get out there and enjoy.

Yup just get out there and use it and when you have a question just come right back here and ask away. There are more answers than there is questions. I'm pretty sure that is a good thing.
Welcome to IRV2 !!!

Maiden voyage "issue"...
Thanks for the welcome! We had a great time on our first MH adventure. Only issue was I can't get the roof AC to run when the generator is on. We drove home with the dash AC on which was fine for me and Nancy, but the boys and dogs in the back were a little warm. The generator starts, but the AMP monitor does not say "gen set" unless we are plugged into shore power. When we test drove it, the roof AC was working fine on generator power. I checked the inside breakers and generator breaker...all were fine. My owner's manual has nothing about running the AC on the generator and how to troubleshoot if any problems. Any thoughts?
