My wife and I plan to begin RVing upon our retirement about 16 months from now. We want to snowbird to start and may go full-time sometime thereafter. Seven months ago, we bought a truck and hope to buy a fifth wheel by the end of this year. We tent camped for a spell many years ago. We had a truck/truck camper 25 years ago as well. We know we want to travel, camp, and meet other RVers.....we're ready to relax, kick back, and enjoy. It's a pleasure to meet all of you and we look forward to a learning experience.

Welcome to the forum - lots of friendly and knowledgeable folks here. We were like you a few years back, although we ran away from home before retirement 'cause we just couldn't wait that long.
We love our fifth wheel and love our lifestyle of full-time travel... we have learned so much about the world beyond our backyard and about ourselves as well.
It's a fantastic adventure... and if you end up going full-time, you might find that it's really liberating to untie yourself from all that "stuff"... (we did!).
