I / We just joined after lurking around for a couple years. Gerry and Cindy Weber from Mukwonago, WI and River Bend Campground just outside of Watertown, WI on the Crawfish River. No camper yet but soon to be Motor Home owners within the next couple years. We do own a site at River Bend but currently use our son-in-laws fifth wheel during the season. He takes it during hunting season and we use it in the summer. Please feel free to stop bye River Bend site 396 and say Hi we would luv to meet new friends that share similar interests.
Mukwonago is an Ojibwa word meaning place of the bear.

I have a 2013 winnebago journey 40u with a 2800 inverter.1. How long can I dry camp just using the residential refrigerator before the batteries completely discharge?
2. Should I leave the inverter on while plugged into shore power to charge my house batteries?

Hi Webs -
I see that you are from Mukwonago. Do you have any input on the Country View Camprounds there? Have you stayed there? We have a 32 foot Class A and are thinking of staying there this summer but can't find many recent reviews.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts/reviews/advice you may have.
McGarrett
P.S. Hope you're enjoying your Winnebago and congratulations!

Welcome! We are both in our early 50's and retired. We're in the process of selling our house and will be purchasing an Entegra Anthem or Aspire 42-45ft late summer to early fall. This entire forum is a wealth of information! I can't even begin to say how much we have learned since joining iRV2! Good luck and hope to be your neighbors in a campground somewhere down the road!
