Trying this site out! Been RVing a few years with our Southwind. Interested in any info on how to replace my tube TV with a flat panel and still make use of resulting space. Still trying to navigate the forums for info.

Howdy and welcome aboard. I don't have any pictures but I removed my old tv's from both the front and bedroom areas. I had oak flat panel doors made and stained to match the original cabinet stain and mounted them with hidden hinges. The rear tv door in hinged on the side with the tv mounted to the front. That allows for storage in the cabinet that once housed the old tv. The front area I had the same arrangement made only I hinged it from the top. I haven't mtd. a tv there yet as we now have a 32" Vizio on a table in the living area. It seems to be a better solution for our tv viewing. The cabinet door is always available in the future if we decide we want the tv back in that location. We use the area where the front tv used to be as we do in the back for storage items. Works out great. Good luck with yours.
