Hi all my name is John and I'm from Louisville Kentucky,
well I have been wanting an RV for a long time so that I could take my family camping and for dear camp.
after doing some searching and not wanting to spend to much on our first RV, I came across this
1989 Southwind for
$6000.000 not sure if I over paid but I love It, It has
27,000 miles and is in great condition and no leaks of sign of prior leaks, everything seems to work fine accept that when I opened the propane valve to check heat and stove I hear a hiss and smelled propane so I guess the valve is bad, it also has a cracked windshield that I'm having fixed this week. It has a
6.5 watt gen and a
454 Chevy with lots of power.
when I got it the decals were badly faded all around and after doing some searches I realized that it was not going to be easy to replace them and pealing them would be difficult since I just had total shoulder replacement, so I decided to just paint them. please give me your feedback on the make and condition and if I over paid since I'm a noob to the RV world, but boy I'm hooked to the RV life I love It.
Thank you all
