New member here. Husband and wife, mid 50s and looking for our first rv so we are doing our homework buy reading all the good advice given here. Reading other people's problems and ideas are helping so much. Thinking of a type A. Have 4 small dogs to consider. We will be reading lots after our purches as we keep learning new things every day.

You have the right idea, do lots of research, and take your time looking. My advice is to buy a high end used coach. Good luck.

Wow, you guys are fast. Got several nice welcomes. Husband and I live in Luray Virginia,Empty nesters although we do have 4 Chihuahuas and that being the reason we thought of Rving. Have no one to care for them, and don't like boarding so have not had a vacation in about 5 years. ( Lord get me out of this house lol) Sooo I thought that with a rv we could throw them in and go. Thought of a fith wheel, then a type A( cause getting them in and out to go pee would be a pain. We could let them use a piddle pad in a A. All was well till one of our little boys desided he did not like riding and boy can he get the rest going.(whimpering, crying, alful) although we are working on that. Any hoo, hard to tell what we will end up with but it will be something used to start. Anybody know of a honest dealer in VA. or near by? Fingers going numblol so thanks again everyone.
