Hi all, After 17 years of cruising the waterways the kids (crew) they are all gone, boat is to big, time to try RVing. We bought an older Holiday Rambler gas 32' and we'll see if we like it this year and if we do then we will go shopping for a bigger better rig. If we don't we go shopping for a smaller boat. LOL
I will certainly be on here quite a bit with a ton question but an Motorhomes seems an awful lot like our boat without a hull.
We are already planning a trip from Ottawa to BC to visit one of our daughters and a few outlaws sorry inlaws. Now the wife decided we should head down to Frisco and Vegas before coming back home. Should be an interesting summer.
Thanks,
Hector & Sue

And congrats on the new to you RV.
Yes, RV's share much in common with many boats and controlling water use and tankage is identical.
Safe travels

Be aware that Las Vegas will be in the triple digits during June, July and August so make sure your cooling system is working well.
San Francisco, on the other hand, will be cold in those months. Somebody famous once said "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco"
Both towns are a lot of fun to visit so I'm sure you will have an interesting summer.

Bienvenue au IRV2.
You will have lots of fun. Too bad BC doesn't get the nice weather Ontario does though. To some older would mean 2-months old, others a 1971 is barely broken in. It's all about perception. Hope you have fun from sea to shining sea. Or OCD version A mari eqsue ad mare ad mare ad mare ad mare ad mare ad mare ad mare ad mare ad mare ad mare ad mare.
