Hello Everyone,
I'm Tom. After spending 50+plus camping in snow, mud and rain, I just bought a 2000 National Motorhome 31 feet, 30,748 miles in excellent shape. Just got back from trying it out. I'm sold on RVing. I have 4 years left before retiring and my wife are looking to more RVing. My two kids are grown up and living their lives, better than I ever could or dreamed. I'm looking forward to the various forums and meeting new folks. In Sept 2016 I'll be sixty. I never dreamed I own an RV much less a motorhome by the time I was sixty. Thank you for reading my introduction.

Congrats on the new rig! Keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Glad you joined.

If you miss the 'good old days' you can always go out and sleep on the ground...

Thanks Larry and Prissy.
It's funny you mentioned about sleeping on the ground in the "good ole days". Because the rig is so wide and long, it's too big to go down the primitive road to our hunting camp this Sept 2016; too many overhanging trees and overgrown bushes. So for hunting camp, I'm back to the ground again. It's also funny that you mentioned about ditches because the driveway to my house has ditches on the both the left and right sides. The city I live in won't allow me to fill them in. I have to widen the driveway just to back the rig in. But it's all good. My wife is my spotter when I'm backing up anyway. I told her she better than a backup camera. Ha Ha Thanks for reading my reply.
