I just wanted to say howdy and check in from S. Texas. I've been active on other sites but this forum came highly recommended so I've been surfing around and finally joined.
I'm semi-retired at 47, so I do a lot of traveling. I had a Super C Jayco Seneca 34SS that I was thoroughly unhappy with. A couple of weeks ago I decided to do a "small" upgrade and bought a leftover '07 Newmar Mountain Aire 4528. I haven't used it yet but I already have two trips planned for January. I'm still a bit intimidated by this new coach, and the dealer was not much help during the delivery as they didn't seem to know much about this coach.
I'm looking forward to lurking around and getting as much information as possible. It's always great to read something and then need it weeks or months later, knowing that I already had the information I needed because of the forums. It's even better knowing that, even on the road, there is a great knowledge base as close as firing up the laptop & aircard.
Until the next time
John

Welcome to iRV2!! I am glad you have followed the reccomendation..as you will find this forum the friendliest & usually the most knowledgable group around!
I would like to suggest you should join the Newmar forum down below...they will also welcome you like an old friend along with be able to share things that are more pertinent to the Newmar line! All you have to do is ask for some "Newmar Karma" ...and you will be in!
Congrats on your "small upgrade" ..enjoy it ...and again...
welcome to iRV2!

Welcome CSX4350 to irv2.
Congrats on your new Mountain Aire.
I have seen you on the Newmar forum join in and ask about your year MH and if you should be aware of any problems that your dealer couldn't answer for you.
I can offer you some KARMA and make you a forum member.
Here is a LINK that maybe of interest to you.
If any questions join us on the forum, enjoy all the forums and do post often.

Glad to have you join the group. Look down in the Clubs and Rallies for the South Central Section and the Texas Boomers. A bunch of us around San Antonio and Houston and all points in between. Love to have you meet up with us at a rally.

Wow, thanks so much for the warm welcome! It seems like everything I was told about this forum was dead-on.
007, I can use all the Karma I can get! Preferrably some good Karma for a change...
TXiceman, I'm always up for a roadtrip. Being retired at my age I always feel like I have to be doing something or going somewhere. My first adventure in my MADP is to Las Vegas for Carroll Shelby's 85th birthday party January 11th. From there to Scottsdale to be his guest at the Barrett-Jackson auto auction. I've sworn I'm not coming home with more vehicles than I left with.

Your Karma is there...and now it will keep you safe for your upcoming roadtrips!
If you run into a guy named "Charlie Lilliard" at the Barrett Jackson auction...please tell him the "crazy lady from Woodland Pontiac said 'HELLO'!"
Have a great time!

Hi John, and welcome to iRV2. Glad you finally found us. We went the opposite way, moving from a Mountain Aire to a Jayco Granite Ridge. Mountain Aire makes a great coach and I'm sure you'll have great success with it.
