Good afternoon all! My name is Ruth and I am full timing in a 2008 Tiffin Phaeton 40QSH. I started this crazy awesome adventure in April, and I've loved all of it (even the unforseeable issues that arise from time to time). I have fallen in love with the RVing community, everyone is always so friendly and helpful.

Thank you all from my pup Bonny and me!

Hi Ruth! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined us!

I suggest that you create a signature showing the make and model of your RV. This will make it easier for folks to help with any questions you may have. Below is a link showing how to do that! Look at post #30.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Also Newbie 👍🏻

Hi Ruth,

We are not full timers but we watch YouTube videos of people who rv full time and would love to do this one day.

Do you travel weekly or stay put for a couple weeks at a time. I think I would like to travel every couple weeks.

Enjoy it all,

Hi! I watch a lot of full timer YouTube videos as well for tips and tricks as I'm fairly new to this.

I mostly stay put for now. I was living in Miami, FL and got a job offer in Seattle, WA for a year. The most feasible way to do it was to buy an RV, pack it up, drive it out there, and live in it. I was hoping for more weekend excursions than I have been able to do, Covid has put a damper on that though. Many state parks have RV restrictions up here due to covid, and most of the other RV parks are full since the snowbirds who usually go south this time of year are staying here due to Covid.

I'm hoping that as vaccines start working things will ease up and I'll be able to do more weekend trips. Right now I'm about 30 minutes from B.C., Canada, and as soon as the border opens to non-essential traffic I'll be heading up that way to see about staying at a park up there!

I tried the link you send and it says "Page not Found."

Do you know of any others? I got my signature, but I would love to put a picture of my rig in it as well.
