Good morning, The wife and I purchased a new to us Class A Motorhome, 2003 Travel Supreme, yes we did read all about the “ x bracing before the purchase”. The price was hard to not to buy, it looks immaculate for its age. The previous owner sure did baby it, all of the extras overwhelmed us and thank you!

Our first trip was the drive home, 2,250 miles. With just a couple hiccups driver caused! Each day brought new confidence and were learning experiences. From our “first” waste dump at Love’s. Choosing Rv parks, all were excellent. Parking at Cracker Barrel with 45’ + 4 down tow. (That won’t happen again). We met all age groups along the way at each RV park. Looking forward to the next adventure🇺🇸

Congrats on your new2u RV. Hope it gives many miles pleasure. It helps to allay worry by having a repair fund. I have had 2 RVs and have kept spreadsheets of all expenses for them. Both diesel pusher, Class A. Including all the 'optional' stuff I bought for comfort, all the repairs, tires, maintenance, all the registrations and insurance the first one came to $187/month over 12 years; my newer '02, all that plus inflation is averaging $85/month over 6 years (this year it's averaging $220/mo though so the average will go up).

Have fun!

Good to here you enjoyed the cruise, the RV community is a vast world, ENJOY & learn all the little things. We have always used rest areas & pullouts on the back roads for a nites sleep, always lookin' to save a buck if not staying 2 nights but that's us. Enjoy your adventures, it's a beautiful country.
