We are new members who just purchased a 2011 Heartland Elkridge 5/w. It states 29 feet, but we found out the mfg.er's now use the length measurement as towing length. So actually it's about 34'.

I initially logged on to this website to research surge protectors and found it to be a great resource on a lot of things.

Our plans include some winter time in AZ, National Park visits, and a trip back East over the Trans-Canada Hiway in about a year.

We also are interested in finding people who like to take their rigs and go on a golfing jaunt.

thank you everyone for the warm welcome. We have already gathered a lot of info from this sight. However, where do you go to start a new post/thread with a question?
Thank you in advance for the info.

If your question is specifically about a fifth wheel issue just scroll down to the fifth wheel forum 5th Wheel Discussion - iRV2 Forums or select from the forum you feel is most appropriate for your question... ie: places to camp? Hobbies? Travel routes? Full Timing? etc, etc. Then you just click on the "new thread" button and type away. As a tip, try to assign a title to your thread that will be discriptive of your question so you'll get the best possible response. A title of "Atwood Water Heater Won't Light" will get much better response than something like "Another Problem With My Fiver".

Good luck...

Rick
