New member(and new owner) checking in

Hello everyone, my name is Jay. My wife Beth and I just bought a 95 Winnebago Vectra today thanks to some great advise from some of the members of this web site. This is our first Class A and quite a change from our pop-up camper. We can hardly wait to get out camping! Any advise you could give us newcomers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jay
By the way we live in Ohio.

Advice? Check out the Pond Piggies (their name not mine) in the North Central region under the Regional Chapters area of the forum. I believe they have get togethers on a regular basis.

Read your owners manual cover to cover. If you do not understand something go to the rig and compare the real thing to the manual. This helps a lot. If you are still confused learn from one who knows.

Big problems with your rig are usually a small thing. If you read the manual you will remember something about the problem (you did bring it with you on your outing didn't you????) and go look it up to learn about the fix. If you do not have a manual get one.

If you decide to install solar go to the boondocking thread and see my post "Solar That Really Works".
